The project

We created an innovative feature that allows Mimi users to seamlessly connect their smart TV to the Mimi mobile app. This integration enables users to sync their unique hearing profiles directly with their TV, enhancing their audio experience.

The project scope encompassed the development of the TV app and the integration of a corresponding mobile flow within the existing Mimi app.

The team: We worked in a full stack cross-functional team, and I collaborated with another designer.

The process was straightforward, and we adopted a hands-on approach to simultaneously develop both the TV and mobile features.

Conclusion

Despite the complexity of the interaction, the TV app and corresponding mobile feature turned out to be easy to use and accessible. As always, testing the features multiple times and iterating based on our learnings was a crucial step in the process. For me personally, this was an exciting opportunity to work with a TV interface for the first time.
